Seriously, it took the guy all of 3 seconds. So, I have no idea why Lowe's staff couldn't take care of it.
Young fellow in Ceiling fan was very courteous and helpful. Negative is I bought Samsung Refrigerator 3 yrs ago and paid $2000 and I am having problem with temperature in fridge part and service says I'm out of warranty. Service is awful from Samsung! Need to put this on Twitter
Things were great. The person helping us in pawn and garden _ Austin) was very helpful and knowledgeable. It made things easy for us to pick up and go!
I arrived at 830 in the morning and the store had very few customers. I was picking up a large piece of equipment from customer service. The woman at the customer service desk told me that when I was ready, she'd have someone help me lift it into my truck. I asked her where I should park and she motioned to the entrance door 10 feet away from us. When I tried to walk out of that door, it would not open for me because it was an entrance only. I stood there for a few seconds as the customer service woman and 2 other staff members watched. Since no one was going to help me, I commented to one staff member that I guessed I had to walk all the way around because it was an entrance. Still, no offer to help.
Off to Home Depot I go.
So, while my faith in Lowe's customer service has drastically diminished, my faith in humanity got some plus points.
It's just the best every time. Associates go out of their way to help. Returns never a problem. I've bought lightbulbs and major appliances and much in between.
So, I walked all the way down to the exit, then back up to the entrance where my truck was parked. I moved my truck to the entrance and walked in. The same woman and 2 other staff members watched me push the equipment to the entrance which, again, would not open for me. Still, no one helped. Thankfully, another customer was coming in this time and the door opened. I pushed the equipment out the door to my truck. Still, no help. I started an attempt to lift the equipment into my truck alone. Still, no help. Again, thankfully, another passing customer helped me lift the equipment into the bed of my truck.
Bought a refrigerator. Same price as home depot but faster delivery and longer 0% financing.
I had previously given this location 4 stars and said that they had helpful staff. I am changing that today based on the following experience:
