Tried to price match with a national retail hardware store, manager looked at me like I was crazy. Showed her the website which showed the EXACT SAME ITEM for $6 less (I needed 3 so quite the savings) and she said she needed more proof and a UPC code though it was proven already it was the same item. She said no and I walked out and drove 20 minutes to the other store. Screw "shopping local" with attitudes like that. Just lost my business.
I've been to this store a couple of times and the staff have always been great. Today, they went above and beyond to look for a product for me, make certain they had it in stock and held it for me until I got there. Even on my way out, the gentlemen who took my call was about to put my bike inside so it wouldn't get stolen. Loved the caring customer service!

Support this local family owned hardware store instead of the big box stores. I live nearby and always have a good experience here. Used to think their propane was a bit pricier than the other tank exchanges, but they fill to 20 lbs and the exchanges only fill to 15, so it's actually quite a bit cheaper and you don't need to go as often.
