Great Library with Knowledgeable Librarians! Large selection of books, DVD's, & New releases. You must live in Montgomery County to obtain a Library Card.Be prepared to show (2) forms of I.D to prove your residency here.They also have an AMAZING Online feature that not only allows you to view your current "check-outs",but to search the entire inventory & Actually-RESERVE BOOKS & DVD'S! If something you are interested in is currently checked out, you can "call dibs" on it when item is returned. Overall, quiet, comfortable environment, with large selection & very kind staff! Oh! They have-free INTERNET!!!! If there is a line for the decent amount of Desktop computers available, you are limited to 1hr per session (But you may sign in as many times as you want & use them for as many sessions as you need!).

I was in Lansdale and stopped in the public library for assistance. I am a professor and business woman who needed to log on for five minutes to obtain a conference call number. I appreciate everyone has policies- BUT no one likes a smart a**. The blonde woman with bi-color braids was nice- but the other young woman showed NO respect with her smart remarks... no respect for my age- close to 50- for my urgency or even me as a person. Library is supposed to be pleasant. I dont take issue with not getting access- I take issue with VERY disrespectful service. Perhaps the smart alec should work in the back instead of with the public : -(
